AVATAR 2: THE WAY OF WATER

Disney confirms the official title of Avatar 2, as well as confirming the release date of the new film set in Pandora.

The second film of the acclaimed series will be called “Avatar: The Way of Water”, this is the name chosen in the original language and which will be available from 14 December 2022 in all the main markets of the world.

The Way of Water is set more than ten years after the events of the first film: it begins with telling the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their children), of the danger that follows them, of where they are willing to go for keeping each other safe, of the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they face.

On September 23 2022, the first chapter of Avatar will also be redistributed in theaters, released worldwide in 2009 and a great box office success at the time. This new version of the film will allow audiences to watch the first chapter of the series with remastered audio and video tracks.

The first trailer will debut exclusively at the cinema, also in Italy, with the film of the Marvel Studios saga Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, from May 4th in Italian cinemas.
