BALOCCO LAUNCHES FIRST PADDINGTON EASTER EGG
Balocco, the historic Piedmontese confectionary company partners with The Copyrights Group to launch ‘The Adventures of Paddington Easter egg.
The co-leader for special occasion confectionary chooses, once again, to pair its timeless and delicious Easter eggs with children’s favourite characters. This year, families will be able to get their hands on a brand-new Paddington-themed chocolate egg.
For 65 years, British-born writer Michael Bond has delighted readers all over the world with his stories about Paddington, the bear from Peru, famous for his love of marmalade. The kindness and humour in the stories appeal to children and adults alike, ensuring Paddington’s enduring popularity from one generation to the next. Paddington made his debut onto the big screen in 2024 followed by Paddington 2 in 2017 and a third movie in the works. In 2020, a brand-new Paddington TV series designed for a pre-school audience, The Adventures of Paddington launched on Nickelodeon, introducing him to a whole new set of fans. It airs on Rai Yoyo every day at 5.15 pm!
Paddington is also a champion for children with UNICEF Italy where the successful subscription product ‘Paddington’s Postcards’ continues to help raise vital funds for children around the world.
Rai com, who manages the licensing program of the brand in Italy, already have several partners on board such as Clementoni (puzzles and games), Play Press (publishing), Hopplà (meet and greet) and Europublishing (stationery).
