SPONGEBOB arrives in Milan with installations featured at the Museum Of Dreamers. It is called a “museum” but contains neither artworks nor educational apparatus inside. It is based on the “experience factor” and pure entertainment the Museum of Dreamers, a new temporary exhibition space opened in Milan a few steps from the Duomo, which in more than 2,000 square meters houses 15 installations with which visitors can interact.

Starting Jan. 22, it will be possible to immerse oneself in the special Underwater world of the world-famous SpongeBob, the iconic Nickelodeon brand property.

The “Spongebob Squarepants” cartoon, the brainchild of American marine biologist and cartoonist Stephen Hillenburg, first appeared on screen on Nickelodeon in 1999, immediately becoming a beloved character among children and then arrived in homes around the world with his infectious laughter.

Museum guests will have the opportunity to visit the new installation thanks to and, to the colorful neon lights and holographic spheres, they will be infected by the liveliness and cheerfulness conveyed by SpongeBob and his world.

All the attention is then placed on the neon that bears the words “Choose Happiness,” the true star of the installation, the message it wants to communicate is precisely the typical joy and lightheartedness of which SpongeBob is the symbol.

Again, visitors are invited to interact with the installation, to enter the world of the animated series: everyone can play and have fun with the spheres, neons and symbols of Bikini Bottom that will animate the Museum of Dreames.
