During the Formula1 Miami Grand Prix 2025 Drivers’ Parade, the LEGO Group and Formula 1 unveiled 10, fully drivable, LEGO big build F1 cars, representing every team on the grid, which were driven by the top drivers in the world .
The builds were created to celebrate the two brands’ multi-year partnership aimed to create more memorable moments for families at races in 2025 and beyond.
The activation marks a number of firsts for the LEGO Group. This is the first time the company has produced multiple drivable big builds at the same time, but especially it’s the first time that multiple Formula 1 drivers have got behind the wheel of LEGO cars at the same time.
A skilled team of 26 designers, engineers and LEGO builders, working during over 22,000 hours in the LEGO Group’s Kladno factory, located in the Czech Republic made possible this event.
At a near 1:1 in scale with Formula 1 cars, each big build includes nearly 400,000 LEGO bricks, weighing 1500kg, and capable of reaching speeds of 20 km/h, all while capturing the intricate and unique details of a Formula 1 car, including everything from sponsor logos to authentic Pirelli Tyres.
Each of the LEGO big build designs were based on the LEGO F1 Speed Champions range unveiled late last year, with this unveiling at the Formula1 Miami Grand Prix 2025, marking the latest in a year of activations between the LEGO Group and Formula 1, aiming to bring families closer to the sport than ever before.
Following the conclusion of the Miami event, all 10 LEGO big builds will embark on a global tour, bringing families and kids closer to all the action on track, with appearances at future races andF1 calendar moments.
