DUOMO MILANO: A HISTORICAL ICON THAT HAS BECOME A BRAND

The Cathedral of Milan, symbol of the Lombard capital, dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente, has always been the symbol of the city, recognized all over the world, and is the largest church in Italy.
More than five hundred years to build it, it is a masterpiece that preserves works of inestimable value. The Monumental Complex of the Cathedral of Milan, despite the pandemic, remains among the most visited monuments in Milan and Italy.

The support of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo

The Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo in Milan is the historical organization responsible for the conservation and enhancement of the Cathedral. Established in 1387 by Gian Galeazzo Visconti, Lord of Milan, for the design and construction of the monument, has been working for over 630 years in the conservation and restoration of the Duomo, in the work of custody and service to the liturgical activity and in the valorization of its patrimony, providing for the finding of the resources necessary for its maintenance.

From icon to brand
The great news is that today the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo has decided to share the strength of its prestigious and renowned brand with companies that want to make products using its rich heritage of photographs, projects, drawings and documents kept in the centuries-old Archives of the Cathedral.
RTI Mediaset collaborates in this licensing development project with the Brand Extension structure. In this regard, in October there will be a meeting to present the opportunities, directly in the Cathedral and at the archive.
