MLD Entertainment announces the launch of Licensing Day España, a new professional event dedicated to the licensing market, scheduled to take place in Madrid on 22–23 April 2026.
The initiative builds on the experience and success of the Milano Licensing Day format, drawing direct inspiration from its structure, approach, and strategic value. Through this international expansion, MLD Entertainment strengthens its commitment to developing high-value B2B platforms capable of connecting the Spanish market with the broader European and international ecosystems.
Licensing Day España is the result of a partnership between MLD Entertainment and AEFJ – Asociación Española de Fabricantes de Juguetes, combining international expertise in organizing vertical licensing events with deep knowledge of the local market.
Timing and location
The event will take place alongside Feria Juguete, creating tangible synergies between the licensing and toy industries while offering direct access to key decision-makers in licensing, retail, and product development.
Following the established Milano Licensing Day model, the format will focus on high-level content and structured networking, fostering strategic dialogue and the development of long-term relationships. Spain continues to confirm itself as a dynamic market, supported by a strong retail foundation and growing demand for licensed products.
A targeted platform for a growing market
The opening keynote, “Pop Culture Connections – Fandom: building communities and thriving through licensing,” will be curated by Paolo Lucci and Gavin Brown of Crescendo Brands, with the participation of international players.
Numerous local and international companies have already confirmed their participation, including Bandai Namco, Booster/Outfit7, Caravanserai, El Ocho, IMC Toys Global, Mattel, Paramount, P&B, Universal Products & Experiences and Sanrio, while many others are discussing their participation.
With a long-term vision, Licensing Day España is designed to become a key reference point for the Spanish market and a further strategic step in strengthening the European licensing network promoted by MLD Entertainment, bringing the Milano Licensing Day model into a new international dimension.
