Brand Jam comes alive at Milano Licensing Day
Brand innovation has been strongly developing since the last seasons, and has become a staple also in the licensing business community. This is mainly due not only to a growing number of activations on the specific “licensed collaborations” scene, but also to all those launches of storytelling products which add new narratives to their brands, and to those small-batches, limited editions launches which transform products in objects of desire.
Our task here at Brand Jam of compiling those new vibrations in the market, something we are doing in the last 12 years, is now more and more appreciated by new clusters of marketers and retailers. So, the occasion seems ideal for Brand Jam to curate “Meet the Unexpected” at Milano Licensing Day, the one-day-only business event which gathers 800 Italian licensing professionals.
“Meet the Unexpected” is a series of talks on collabs, product design, limited edition, pop-up retailing, drops – anything that gets the branding innovation whirling – made in collaboration with testimonial and with case histories, designed for everyone whish to know more about brand innovation.
“It’s only rock&roll?” is the provocative question that Bravado-Universal Music will ask the audience, highlighting all those new opportunities in the music biz through collabs with high-tier brands, touring pop-up stores and live consumer experience.
TF1 Licensing, the consumer products branch of the French media company will focus on “How to become (unexpected) design icons”, showing the success of Barbapapa as an icon thanks to its collaborations with partners like Musée du Louvre, Merci or Patou. Brand Jam will then update the audience on the different collaboration models and what is next on the scene, with a dedicated conversation on “retail collaborations” with Sabor, Italian apparel company with a proven and long time experience in the segment.
