Pokemon comes to London with a new pop-up at Harrods

Pokémon occupied the toy floor of Harrods for six weeks during the half-term holidays to celebrate Pokémon Day on 27 February.

The Pokémon Company’s international pop-up offers a range of activities for visitors to the famous department store in Knightsbridge, London. The brand’s flagship space in the toy department on the shop’s fourth floor celebrates a vibrant selection of all-time favourite Pokémon, which can be found on land, sea and sky in different regions of the Pokémon world. Colourful and vibrant graphics, displays and digital screens present dynamic content from the brand’s key components, including video games, trading card gaming and animation, as well as the latest toy releases.

Alongside a wide selection of Pokémon products, there is a rich assortment of themed activities, including giveaways, photo opportunities and visits to costumed characters in mid-February, creating an exciting and engaging pop-up destination for Harrods customers.

“We are delighted to once again partner with Harrods to create this exciting new pop-up where fans old and new can celebrate Pokémon,” said Mathieu Galante, EMEA licensing director at The Pokémon Company International. “With a host of the best-loved Pokémon filling the space along with fun activities, we hope to deliver an exciting and engaging experience that will enjoy the huge success of our previous collaborations with this iconic shop.”
