After its huge success in Germany, where it is the most widely read football magazine for kids, TOP11 arrives in Italy with its first issue, inaugurating a new way of presenting sports to the younger generations.
The debut is set for October 17, with distribution at newsstands and major supermarkets handled by Press-Di.
Targeted at 8-14-year-olds, the magazine is designed to engage Generation Alpha, the digital natives who consume information quickly, visually, and interactively.
TOP11 combines information, play, and collecting in a colorful, dynamic, and “snackable” format, where graphics and images take center stage and content is consumed with the same immediacy as social media.
“TOP11 is not your usual football magazine,” emphasizes Tony Verdini, Director of Operations at Blue Ocean Entertainment Italy. “It’s a product designed for Generation Alpha: immediate, visual, and engaging. Each issue combines editorial content with Topps collectibles, offering a hybrid experience of play and information.”
“We are happy to extend the collaboration between Topps and Blue Ocean to Italy as well,” adds Camilla Galassi, Senior Marketing Manager at The Topps Company. “The combination of high-quality content and sports collectibles allows young football fans to enjoy a complete experience, enhancing the way they discover and live their passion for sports.”
With TOP11, Blue Ocean Entertainment brings to the Italian market a well-established editorial model at the European level, capable of speaking the fast-paced and visual language of Generation Alpha — an audience that, more than any other, represents the future of publishing and entertainment in general.
